Anyone know bout what size exaust tip would b good on a 96 v6

I'm thinking about customizing my exaust myself but I was thinking of cutting off the tip of a ford f150 and apply it to my v6 with a roush muffler coming out the side skirt wit dual crome tips... Any idea how it would sound

It would sound pretty good, but, the roush mufflers are a pretty penny. You can get the same sound out of dual flowmaster 40s with a 3in tip for cheaper.

I almost had a roush body kit, but dropped it and changed for gt bumpers after I heard saturnman's problems with his roush side exhaust.
I'm doing a custom Catback with an H-pipe and flow 40s with 3.5in stainless steel tips. My exhaust guy is supplying everything an doing all the work for about 500. Which isn't bad at all,

I have the thrush Turbo on my sunfire, it really doesn't sound too bad. But on the v6 it might sound like a ricer...

2.75-3" at most angled up a bit (to offset the visual looking angled down sides of the bumper else it will look pointed down even if its level with the ground.

I would also go with a LONG tip as you dont want to see where its welded on it, that will need to be rather long.

also go stainless steel. You may can find a GT take off or cat back with tips made in, polish them up and put them on
