Re: New Exhaust!

Yea, video never does do it justice, i need to get a video of mine uploaded. and yea thats mine in the profile pic. she's in the shop right now because she was bad lol. blew a spark plug out of the head. been haveing quite a few issues with her for a while now...maybe this was the cause of them. who knows.

but back on topic. I wish i actually knew what the exhaust on mine is, i bought it with what it has, i do know its got the stock cats divorced duals and two mufflers on each side with flowmaster tips..and their round mufflers, about a foot long or so...no clue what they are though

oh yea, and the color is the Redfire Metallic that came out on the 40th anniversary ones. at least thats what the door jamb tag says

Maybe flow master 10s if I'm not mistaken, those also give a good growl and rumble. Divorced duals also help with the sound. But it's a very nice color.

Re: New Exhaust!

flowmaster 10s are still kinda boxy compared to mine. when i say round i mean literally if you are looking through them they have the shape of a coke can

they look a lot like the cherry bomb glasspacks, but one is white ....that may be what they are

---------- Post added at 08:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:41 AM ----------

i kinda hope they arent glasspacks though, i've heard bad things about them for our cars

All I've heard is they get whiny or high pitched. It would be an easy swap to flow 10s if you ever wanted to. How long have you owned the car?

Re: New Exhaust!

just whats on my signature so far, trying to talk the wife into letting me get some more, the next things on the list are a 8.8 with 3.73 or 4.10 gears and a t-lock, windstar, cams, a power pack from super6motorsports, forged, FI, and i want to find a GT rear bumper too

I like the sound a lot under about 3-4.5k up at the top it get kinda high pitched....at least from inside the car. but for just cruising it sounds really good

Hmm I'm looking at doing the same, I wanna do a 4.2 stroker, low compression, stage 3 power pack, with the custom ground for FI, 8.8 rear end with 3.73s with the blower and then take the tranny downtown to a tranny shop and have them beef it up,
