Ive tried many different kinds of wash & the best so far for me is Meguiars gold class but I havent tried any high-end stuff yet. Waffle towels for most of the water, fluffy drying towel for the rest, microfibers for windows, detail & wheels. Wash & dry from the top down. I change the wash water at least once. Use separate buckets, microfiber sponges & towels for wheels. I clay bar every couple months and treat the trim with Meguiars Ultimate Protectant with too my DD.

^ Meguiars Gold Class is good stuff. I use mothers currently, it tends to suds a little more, but they're about equal. Gold Class smells a little better.
Supplies: 3 Buckets are best 2 will work. Get a grit gaurd they can be found almost everywhere. They should be about $8 or less each.

I've never thought about it to be honest. Vanillia maybe? It smells good though and it doesn't dry out the hands.

Kinda weird, but I love the way my hands smell after waxing w/ Maguires carnauba cleaner wax lol

Also if you own a black vehicle, turtle wax' Black Box is highly recommended.. Stuff works wonders!

I know me too. And yes that black wax takes a while to do but is a miracle on our black cars.
