V8 swap will these parts cars work?

My dad blew the head gaskets on the way to sacramento. We haven't torn the V6 all the way down yet, but it may of also cracked a head.
Were going to replace the head gaskets but I started looking around for parts cars with different engines? It looks like it will almost cost the same to buy a different engine.

I found a really cheap 94 f150(4x4 can't use the trans) its got a 5.0 they want $175. and it runs but its got back-fees due on it.
could I use the engine in my stang and use most of the parts from the truck to get the engine in? what other parts would i need?
if I don't hot-rod it and go easy on the gas, Will my V6 tranmission be OK until i can get a stronger trans?(what should I get I want an auto)
1994 Ford 4x4 extra cab 5.0 Auto.for parts only.with Title (this is the truck they re-uploaded it yesterday so they still have it)

I also found this(1995 Ford Mustang GT) but they haven't responded to any emails, so they may not have it or are just barely check there email.(they should tell us if they sold it though...)

sorry if its too long. I hope some one can answer a couple of my questions though?

well you will need a new tranny for sure . and if you buy that wrecked gt it would make an awesome donor car, but ur still left with needing a new tranny.

If you have a 5 spd T5 trans just change out the bell housing for the 5.0 and it will be fine regardless

V6 trans won't hold up to v8 power for very long...

What year are we working with? If it's a 95 I've heard stories that you can pull the engine and it's harness under the hood and the gt's engine harness will plug right in. Just make sure you use the gt's ecu. Also keep in mind gt and v6 spring rates are different. Since your buying a donor you can just drop the k member and all out from under the gt and swap it into the sixxer.
