It's a lot of work. Took me about 8 hours and i changed mine with shorty header. If you do longtubes you must get it weld and a new midpipe

I slapped my shorts on in about 3 hours. That was with Egr tubing issues. I would imagine just throwing a single manifold on would be a lot easier. Pb blast the Egr tubes for awhile. Might make life a lot easier for you

Is the egr tube on the passenger side? I didn't see it on the driver side when I took a quick look at it

Re: Replacing manifold

EGR tube connects to the passenger side manifold, way at the back.

This one has it in the front
Will the tube reach it? It doesn't have it in the front on the stock one. This is a Dorman replacement from autozone

For some reason (I live in ny, and I grew up with the original owner) but my car has California emissions. That means I have Egr tubes going everywhicha way. So I just sent in for the tune to delete the Egr and capped off all those pesky holes. I'm still baffled as to how this car ended up in new york, but screw it, I'll work around it.

I thought that new York requires California emissions there?
