I already have a custom H-pipe because when I bought the car. The previous owner had custom dual exhaust then one broke and the muffler guy put in a whole new H-pipe exhaust system but it sucks because it rusted fast, and it rubs agains my tired or something in that area but I can't get it fixed because my dad says he has to look at it first when he knows nothing about cars which is why we got ripped off for the exhaust system in the first place, so it's making me angry and I might just get a whole new system, but are the flowmaster 44s just mufflers?

It's meant for a Y-Pipe set up. Have the exhaust hook it up to ur h-pipe, should be fine. No more than 200, they will just cut efore the mufflers and weld it on

Re: Dual exhaust?

Back on my v6, I had Mac mufflers running a catted x pipe. Flowmaster is a louder stock sound and magnaflow doesn't sound quite right. My personal opinion is to go with an offroad x pipe (like $130 from pypes) and do a Mac catback ($380 from American muscle I think). This is a good deep tone with not too much rasp and not the signature quiet v6 whisper.

Re: Dual exhaust?

Catted Prochamber to set of Borla XR-1 Multicore mufflers.
This is my new goal.

Everything I've heard about exhaust in these beasts is keep the cats or you will sound ricey. Idk about if you run long tubes with an h pipe. That might work. If that's what ur thinking make a video when you get done

I've heard that too but I think its just a myth. My car ran straight headers which sounded loud and crappy but with mufflers it should be fine if you run no cats

Yeah I decided to just get some flowmaster 44s with my 100$ off at AM but my dad isnt letting me get them because I got a new exhaust system when mine broke but it was a cheap replacement we got ripped off on and it has 2 thrush mufflers I got this a year ago and he says I can't because I just got new ones but I would be getting the 44s fres

Re: Dual exhaust?

Here's the setup I did for my 04 Sixxer.

Stock manifolds, offroad H pipe to Mac exhaust. Sounds pretty good, has a bit off ricer burn at 3800 rpms but I rarely wind it up that high. Anything below 3500 sounds good

When you decide to stop getting speeding tickets in my case. I think in other cases it's 26 years old. Or you can get married lol. No accidents, defensive driving classes, stuff like that helps too
