U can't have two cat backs at the same time also unless u have a v8 doing a engine swap from a 6 is more work and money that it's worth

I have a bassani x pipe with slp high flow cats and a set of 28 inch glasspacks and it sounds good at start idle and low rpms but the glass packs buzz at around 3k and then sound mean as hell above 3500. I think it would sould better all throughout with chambered flows

ok there has been some confussion with people finding exactly what they are lookig for in an exhaust. my setup is prolly the closest to what stock 3.8's will sound like. i have a k & n cai, pacesetter h-pipe with flowmaster 40 series mufflers.

I have custom cat back done by a shop, but it's an h-pipe with flow 40s and I love it, it's a growl sound up to about 4.5k then more exotic

Would love that, but I'm looking to do a m112 supercharger then on the side build up a 4.2 or a strong 3.8. Then swap in the new engine and throw the blower on top with a 8.8 rear and have a tranny shop beef up the tranny, wanna make 500-600hp

i hear ya there. i have been looking into finding a cheap 4.2 to build up to drop in. i wanna do this right and smooth, cuz when D Day comes, for the motor to be dropped in. i wont hesitate to let some v8's get that sweet taste of my rubber lol.

Same here, I think I added it all up to be about 5-6k for the motor, all work myself, 1-2k on the rear end, 1-2k on tranny, and 3k on the blower. So almost 13k total car...
Lots of money but I have several years still left on the current engine

if you going to M112 the car it'll only be at the track you'll get that kind of horsepower (or whenever/wherever you decide to race) it'll require meth injection to keep it cool under high enough boost to make 500+ rwhp and if you're going to pull the internals might as well upgrade to 4.2 for the displacement increase

True, but I'll probably never/rarely run it at the track. How does a methanol cooling work? Or isn't that just a nitrous shot?
Explain please?

Re: Dual exhaust?

Speaking of some Power Pacs, I have my heart set on getting a SSM Stage3 lumpy power pack. Port out my little single port. Bore that out and see how I like it before sizing up a blower. One thing at a time....
I'm runnung Flowmaster 10's. I 'd like to run a set of Borla's XR2 Multicore. YEP.

meth, is a different type of fueling system. needs to be ran differently then regular fuel lines. its like a racing fuel. suppose to burn a lil slower and helps with big power add ons. something regular gas cant do.

nope, get bigger injectors and tune it real good. meth is for much larger motors. and for those who has the right setup.
