Right now I have a custom H pipe dual exhaust that has 2 thrush mufflers and it's just junk, the people that did it sucked and I was wanting new exhaust but should I get Flowmaster Force II Dual Catback Exhaust or Magnaflow Dual Catback Exhaust?

Or MAC Dual Exhaust Conversion Kit

Flow masters and any H pipe will sound beast on a six, long tubes not only help the sound but give you a nice little hp gain.

Re: Dual exhaust?

Single chamber muffler may give you what you need to satisfy you wants/needs/desires. Once you get the exhaust you are satisfied with, a set of gears will amplify that sound greatly. Some recommendations from me to you:
Cherry Bomb "Extreme"
Flowmaster "10 Series"
Spintech
This is the ULTIMATE, Listen to youtube "V6 Borla X2 Multicore (NOT X2 Sportsman).

Re: Dual exhaust?

OK, Then you can hear examples of both on youtube. My opinion is that the Magnaflow sounds a bit like an open wheel race car, high pitched. The Flowmaster 44's sound deep, mellow, drone a bit at 2200RPM+.

I want it to be more deep and mellow but this is my first car and I have no idea what sounds good and bad that's why I wanted some opinions, I was thinking the flowmasters but I didn't know if at higher rpm it wouldn't sound good haha

Flow masters don't sound bad at all in the high range, sounds like a v6 but not ricer.

Yep. I didn't realize I needed offset/offset until I got it in the air ready to install. So I sent the ones I ordered in the first place back, after calling and arranging it. They were gonna send what I needed as soon as they got mine back. I first placed the order on march 8th. I called about a month ago like wtf, and dude said they were right on the shelf with my name on them and he'd send them out that day, and to expect them in seven days. I waited two full weeks and called them again and a different guy said almost the same exact thing. So now I'm waiting adamngain. I'll call them Wednesday if they aren't in by Tuesday.

I've been on vacation for a majority of that time. I'm not really in a big hurry. As long as they get here. The suspense of how they will sound has been building though, I can't lie.

I am gonna try out the true duals first, dumped before the axle. I doubt I'll ever go with an x, I hear it gets a little ricey sounding over 2500 rpms. If I don't like the true duals I'll slap an h in there. I decided to keep the cats and go with shorty headers for sound purposes, so I'm betting no mid pipe will sound good.

yeah that sounds pretty good. i think the h is what gives it the more deep tone to the sound but u should go with that setup first see how u like it

If u keep ur v6 bumper do a carted h pipe with 40s or 44s and dump them. They will sound louder then Trues and u don't have to worry about extra piping and tailpipes etc.

^ very true

iMO a new edge looks waaaay better with the tips coming out back , but if you still (or plan on keeping) the v6 bumper, dump it.
