4.2 stroker question?

So we blew my mustangs 3.8 engine up a about a week ago, we were hoping it was just a headgasket. turns out the blocks cracked. everything else is still good.
I have a extra block with a 4.2 crank shaft(no pistons and rods though)
I'm keeping it single port for now.
My question is can I use the single port heads with the the 4.2 crank, connecting rods and pistons or will they hit the heads?

I don't know the answer to your question, but if you ate putting a motor together with the best available 'stock type parts' like rods and pistons, I'd suggest to find a way to do the split port swap while your doing this IMO it's best to do it all at once.. A set of heads and intake in a salvage yard can't be too expensive.. Just my opinion and advice.
