Foot well lighting!

Had these mounted for like a month. Finally wired them 3 days ago. Decided they needed a switch, so I added a five setting touch sensitive dimmer switch.

Re: Foot well lighting!

Mine are wired into the head unit in the radio. Spliced into the line that comes on with the ignition. That line is spliced into the blue accents under the radio. And one of those accents is wired to the switch which is then wired to the foot well lights. A little confusing to figure out at first, but because it's all behind the radio, it looks clean. I was gonna go the same route as you (with the headlights) but I was intimidated by the thought of pulling apart my car looking for an existing hole in the firewall, or worse, making a new one. The purpose of the switch was in case I was driving around a bunch of cops. I'm pretty sure they're legal, but I don't want police hassle in case I'm wrong or they don't know I'm right.

Hahahaha you can see them from the outside. At least, the glare, on the highest setting. They're ridiculously bright.

Re: Foot well lighting!

Same here. I thought about going green. It's my favorite color and I was gonna paint the car a neon green. But the car is blue. And I don't have $125 per opening to paint all the jams and under the hood. And so the car will remain blue. Just go from atlantc blue to bright atlantic blue.
