Yeah that's not worth it to me if I can buy 2 from AM for the price of one

I really don't understand any of the negative comments for the AM chin spoiler... yes it comes kinda folded, but lay it out and heat it up and it pops right back.

Mine didn't pop back. It's still a little creased even after a year. It was off the car for a few weeks after I killed Bambi and it never fully recovered

I'd still buy it all over again though.

Did you use a hair dryer or heat gun?

Well there is one example on the American muscle website under the chin spoiler customer photos and it is red. I think the boss shinooda has painted lips. Its all personal preference but I like it black

Definately the black one but I almost think that the tan one is able to pull it off

Mine just came In the mail and it went back to its original shape over night while out of the box. I do have to say that it feels pretty cheap compared to the OEM piece. Otherwise, I'm happy with it.

Letting it bake in the sun to get it back to its original shape.

I think the OEM piece is thicker and may be blockier on the back side. For the Mach 1 it is supposed to provide down force. For us it is to look cool cruising around town so it doesn't need to be grade A stuff

I may look to reinforce the lip somehow, it feels a little flimsy for my taste.

I like this one because they ship it in a large box so it is not bent at all, looks to be higher quality, agree?? This store sells great hard to find parts & pieces.

Thanks for this! My chin spoiler has seen better days and this looks like my stock piece.

If letting it sit for a few days doesn't work use a hair dryer or heat gun.
Also, to match oem look it is even on the sides and actually set back in the center.

That's good to point out! It isn't supposed to sit flush in the front. It matches at the fenders/ends of the chin and you should start from the ends towards the center.

I put mine out in the sun for a couple hours and it looks nice and straight now. I have seen both ways of installing the lip, and I prefer the lip when it's flush with the front of the bumper over the OEM location. Either way, I think ford could have made it a tad longer and we wouldn't have to decide on the best way to mount it.

You can kind of see on the new Challenger srt 8 that it is the same way

Here's a couple better pics with the new lip. I decided to mount it flush with the front.

I've thought about it because I hate drying each little hole in the grill, but I'm thinking the only other appearance mod in my future will be 18x9&10 in Bullitt rims. I like the Mach grill better than my Bullitt grill, but I'd like to keep most of the Bullitt-specific stuff.
