Is it possible to take the interior from an 05 (or above) and put it into an

I can't stand the console & dash (really hate the console) of my 02 and was wandering if would be possible to switch it out and use the interior from an 05 or above?

I'm talking dash, console and seats. I know the e-brake is on the right in the 02 interiors and in the 05 or above it's by the driver, so I know there would have to be work done there, as for the rest of the stuff, I'm not sure about fitment.

Does anyone know if anyone has ever done an this kind of interior switch? Is it even possible?

I was thinking of trying to find the interior of a wrecked 05 or above at a junk yard or maybe on craigslist. But would like to know everybody's opinion!

Thanks for any help!

No I don't think so as part of the dash is molded and the screw points are different and the center console is different as well and is part of the dash

What you could do is take it to a fiberglass shop or body shop and see how much they would charge to Fab up a dash for ya

It would be more cost affective to get a different car

Yea it probably would but it doesn't hurt to ask. Plus he could get it how he wants it and it would be super unique.

Here's some options. They are from a little roller show car. Not my fancy but it does show that there is some creative room in customizing the interior. This is done with suede.

Actually I have seen pictures of a s197 interior in a sn95 car! It can be done. Google it. I would post pix but I'm in no mans land with my phone only. Be ready to spend big $$$ its expensive. And honestly, I like the sn95 interior.

I meet a guy that took the dash and seats from a sn95 and custom fit it into his fox body it looked awesome. So it's probably possible just need the right equipment/skills

Probably easier due to the fact the new edge and old fox share similar or the same chassis

It isn't easy by any means.. there are forums everywhere of people asking people because they are stuck. It takes a lot of chopping to get it in there. Plus removal of the front window

Still easier then fitting a interior dash from a different platform never said it was "easy" in that context
