Like I said earlier. Your engine will hold that much power. But your gonna need a support system to help hold it together. The DSS main support system claims to keep the block together for up to 650 hp. My goal on my carbed 302 is to eventually throw a weiand 174 supercharger on it. Check it out. They are about 2600$. Then figure in another 1000$ for supporting mods. They even make a Holley supercharger carb specifically designed to run with that supercharger. I had this build all planned out at one time.

motor has already been removed from car and disassembled so nothing left to see, and yes this can happen, ive been drag racing for many years and its not the first time ive seen this, ive seen guy blow their supercharges of the motor due to a no2 issue

spray it on an idle sure it can happen, every single time for that matter, but going down the track takes effort to screw up lol, he not put the right fuel jets in and run it lean as hell or what? (your car)

Lol...i remember when i wanted to 302 swap my car. Then i grew a brain and i'm just buying a new car and saving the headache.

Yes I see hoods blowing off cars all the time.... 4 second drag cars of course, however most of those intakes are plastic composite or sheet metal. And I doubt this guy was running a huge short of nitrous.
