Car doesn't feel right?

Yesterday i took my car on the highway, and took about a 3 hour drive round trip give or take. My car is about to turn 115k and i always worry about high mileage cars on the expressways. So I don't know if it is just my imagination but it seems the exhaust leak has gotten a bit louder. And it feels like my car has a little bit of a vibration when i'm breaking, just before the car comes to a complete stop. So, should i be worried about this or what? I Didn't beat on it by any means, had it up to maybe 75 for a few minutes. Opinions?

Could it be o2 sensors about to go bad? Bc this happened to me also, along with the exhaust leak.

Well for some reason my bad o2 sensors made my car vibrate really hard and the same with my friends galant. Every time I stopped my car would idle rough. The I heard a rattle the o2 sensors were loose so I tightened them, later the engine light came on bank 1 side 2 some bull crap code appeared and I solved it by adding all brand new o2 sensors.
The exhaust still leaks now, but I think it's a cracked manifold. You feel a somewhat loss in hp. I wish someone else could pitch in, bc it's all I got for you.

Is there a code or engine light?

Nope, no code or light, its just a really weird slight vibration when i'm just about to come to a complete stop. Once stopped it's not there anymore. I was thinking rotors or something along those lines, but it would probably do the vibration throughout the braking process, right? I dunno if i should worry about it or not, I just found it weird I started to notice it right after that long joy ride.

I'd look at your brake pads, could be they are eat up and are starting to eat your rotors. Also front alignment could have some play with the shaking. For the exhaust leak, it's never going to leave you dead on the side of the road. The max it will do (my friends did this) is crack apart, and your car will be really damn loud lol (I liked it, sounded like a v8 8)). It's nothing that will make your car die on the side of the road. You will prolly get scare for a second tho... POW!

Thats for damn sure. My exhaust cracked and fell and i was on the highway. My wife had her little dog in the floorboard right above where it cracked and i swear that dog jump to the roof of the car.lmao

But i drove it up on the tow truck. Didn't hurt the engine

Fix the exhaust leak, might be a good time to upgrade since you'll be spending money anyway. Check all your fluids, never a bad idea to do. If none of that helps, check everything that moves, lol. Tires, ball joints, tie rods, sway bar linkages, all that stuff. If it still vibrates, sell the car.

I would have but half the exhaust was dragging the ground and my son was in the car.

I'm going to go in and check all of that, maybe have my dad take a look at it, but that last option has crossed my mind quite a bit lately. Lol.

It's been a pretty good car the passed year i've owned it. It's got 115k miles on it, so it's been around. Maybe it's just the itch to get into a GT that has me looking for an excuse to sell my pony. Lol

I dont blame you. If I could get a good amount for my car and have enough to buy a gt, I would. But I'm a poor college kid so my six will do til I'm out. Besides, my six is way faster than a good portion of other mustang 6's
