| Need help
My 03 stang been acting weird here lately. When I start it, it automatically starts shaking, when I put it in gear it drives but it still shakes. Any help is much appreciated, i don't know if it's a converter problem or what?

under acceleration how does it act? how about when you're just cruising down the road, any shaking?
if it's a constant shaking all the time make sure you're harmonic balancer is still in one piece, i've seen them split before

Yeah it shakes alot in low rpm's. Where exactly is that balancer? I was told my converter might have gone out but I don't know the signs to look for

on the front of motor, the biggest pulley and the lowest in engine bay, it's directly on the crankshaft, check it for play/cracks

Sounds like you need a tune up to me. My truck did that and it had a vacuum leak. Check for that, change spark plugs, etc.

Bad or lose motor mounts will also make it shake

If you spray carb cleaner on ur vacuum hoses it helps find air leaks. Revs up=leaky spot

Everything seem to be fine when I checked over the weekend. But I think it may be a loose mount for the motor or a vacuum leak. Hopefully I can get this problem fixed soon
