Dash swap?

Ey ladies and gents ... Got a question have any of yall swapped a dash or know if it's hard to do? I got a 2000 and I want a 01-04 style in mine .. Yes looks the same except for the center bezel they changed from 00 to 01 .. I want a two den touch screen head unit but it's impossible to do in my 00 cause of the three separate slots .. And can't just change bezel due to how it clips into my dash

Actually 99-00 and 01-04 has few differences ... Dash.. Center console.. And engines they all enter change but 99-00 engines are not internally balanced and the driver side valve cover has a design flaw and 01-04 engines are internally balanced and the valve cover flaw was fixed will it was the PCV that had the flaw but any who

Nope the mounting clips are different

That extra divider under my radio has clips that on the dash come out sways could be cut off but stabilization on the radio would go out the door

I found a sweet android software touch screen head unit with detachable face that is a android tablet which I thought was wicked!

i didnt even know they had differences interior wise . maybe if u find the dash from a 01 up it will work. im sure the body frame itself is the same so i dont see why not. theres people that change their full interior cuz they have tan and want black.

Mostly wondering if it's a shell over a internal frame and wouldn't have to re run interior dash wire harness
