Oil??

What you guys using for oil. My car tells me 5w-30 and but all the new books say 5w-20 what should I use 2001 v6..

Well 80k miles and money isn't an issue but I'm not putting royal purple in mine has nothing for performance.

I recommend Brad Penn, super sticky oil. For your application it is perfect. eurosyntheticoils.com has it at good prices. I use it in my 93' GT.

I've tried Royal Purple too... Same crap. Just over priced. Lol
5w-20 is just built for the emissions **** 5w-30 is same stuff. IMO I stay with motorcraft full synthetic.

Major fine IF you get pulled over and Po-Po decides to do a random check of the car and finds out the meows aren't there...

Yea legally they can't search your car with out a warrant, but if u resist they will make something up, and eventually get to it

And If they do, it's a fix it ticket which isn't much at all, and all u have to do is put it stockers back on take a picture and go up to the court and show u did it and get right out of the ticket.

Yea I knw a fix it ticket is like 30 bucks lol still got 5 of em to pay. But I'm willin to risk it for better sound and more hp
