Help please. Firewall.

Okay so i got some LEDs that run to your fuse box for power. So I need to go through the firewall. I got below the steering column and see no holes. I'm not very educated on cars. Just the general stuff. So could someone describe to me where the hole is or show a picture. I looked all over. Please help. I even. Checked the engine compartment and seen no open spots to run and wires.

When I installed my driving lights I had to run a wire out to the engine compartment. I found a drill bit the same size as the wire I was running and I drilled a hole through the big black plug. I pushed the wire through with some effort and I didn't have to remove/reinstall the plug and it is also water tight. That plug is BIG! You can run lots of wires through it. if you make the hole too large you can always seal it with some silicone.
