Headlight question

Hey everyone. Sorry to bother with another question. I want that super bright cool/ice blue look to my headlights. Can I go to auto zone and buy the 15 dollar bulbs that say cool blue or do I need a hid kit with the little ballast. And also what's the different in each. What is the actual need for those ballast

Don't get them. I did the same thing thinking they would be blue and they're not blue at all. I was bummed out

What wasn't blue. Bulbs or the kit.

Re: Headlight question

You want an HID kit then. you can get them relatively cheap, just dont go an ebay brand or it'll burn out within a year. JUst the bulbs will have little or no change.

I have the ZXE, i recommend them if you are not ready for HID's. It's the brightest bulb i've ever used it's not blue though it's white...

+11111

I use them on my tinted headlights and the light shines right through bright white.
