Do I need a maf or can I keep it like this?

My stang is a TBI but I'm pretty sure u need ur MAF.

Usually without your maf it throws thing off and check engine light goes on etc.. What year is your car?

Thanks guys, its only been started once with it on. Doesn't have tags yet so its just hanging out. I'll just have to get that next instead of the Hurst shifter :/ its a 98 btw.

You can buy stock ones from places like partstrain.com and such or you can get on summit and get an aftermarket one

Summit is generally cheaper but apparently we get a discount from AM thru this forum but I've never used it.

I hooked everything up correctly and she runs fine, but the check engine light came on :/ how do I fix this??

Go to autozone and get them to test for you. Unless you have a tuner and can do it yourself

I've got another question guys. For this CAI kit, am I supposed to make a custom hole for the temperature meter after the MAF? Because there's definitely no where to put it lol
