He did the 500 dollar turbo but also had some parts already on his car so his total build is over the 500 dollars. Cheapest is not the best way. Cheap fast reliable pick two

Only two!? lol the way I see it is the turbo is the biggest expense so if I build up the whole system real good and put a 2.3 turbo on there it will get the job done till I can afford a bigger better turbo.

Fuel pump*
Fuel injectors*
Intercooler*
Turbo itself*
Oil feed lines*
couplers*
clamps*
welding*
Blow off valve*
tuner*
tuning*

Its not easy to put together a turbo kit for 500$ You could go grab a junk yard turbo for 100$, find some JY pipe for another 100$, pay somebody to weld pipes to your headers and make you a crossover (unless you can weld then this will be free) then you have to find injectors, fuel pump, feed line I guess you could find at a JY but you still will need to tap the oil pan and a fitting for it (or some copper line), you could steal a bov off a car with one. But you may spend 200-300-400$ at the JY before you even get started. And you still pray the turbo is in good shape. Not to mention tuning.

Or you could just slap some stuff on not tune it and pray for the best?

**** dat lets get cobras be proud of having a v6 I am **** I never knew how to work on a ca r untill o started modding this no matter what v8 and v6 are diffrent class thats why mod a 6 then move up to a v 8

That was just a guesstament i went by what all my parts should make on my 91 tune and lowerd the number so wouldnt sound exaggerant i just recived my 93 tune today so weekend should be hella fun >
What all mods you have? Im not trying to be an *** on here i just never seen a v6 that someone didnt just throw a ****ty exhaust on. Thats why i check out this forum i wanna hear the reason some people choose the 6 over the 8.

You like in Tx, there are a bunch of 400hp+ v6's in Texas or cars that are running decent times in the 8th and 1/4.

Single turbo car here.

Lol true... All things being equal it's gonna matter where you make the power. I may only put 490hp to the wheels but I also put 490tq from 2000 to 6500...

Not putting your car down at all btw, still watch replays of old v6 shootouts.

first line is 2k rpm where it starts and it goes in 500 so next line is 2500 etc.

Also yea your cars lighter but ive also pulled the hell outta evos pushing 400 running 23lbs boost way lighter then you an it still was nowhere close to a good match. Still not putting your ride down but your single.turbo v6 still wont pull my 8. But props to the power your making

I was hitting 12.2 before the new cams, gears pully, roush ab's and tune. So pretty sure i have no prob hitting 11s. Get you car atleast high 12s before you come at me

You are the one with an attitude regency. Your first post was bashing 6ers cause to you, meaning in your opinion, they sound like ricers. Which escalated into this whole fiasco of you going back and forth with people about how a v6 will never stand up to your almighty v8
