Over heating

My car feels hot to the touch fan works dosent over heat but like hot

No when I lift the hood like my egine feels hot like my upper intake is hor could it be my thermostat

yes engines tend to radiate heat....

especially if your driving hard.

Yeah your intake is gonna get a lot of heat soak from your motor. Plus all that hot air under your hood has no where to go but down and out. It normal for it to be pretty hot. Check your plastic tubing on your plug wires that run on top of your intake. If those don't look melted then I'd say you're fine. If you're still worried just keep an eye on your coolant temp.

It's hot period lol. Just watch your temp gauge in your car as long as its not going up you should be ok.

turn on stove....touch stove top....same effect


if you're worried though take a laser temp reader to it and see where she sits...how's your coolant levels? is your temp gauge rising above normal at all?
