How does the x pipe sound with the 44s? And are you catted or cat less? Cause I had an x pipe and glass packs on my 2000 sixer and it sounded beast until about 3000 Rpms then it sounded like a s*** ton of angry bees were in my exhaust lol

Its catted but I'm wanting them off and I don't know if we have the same taste in sound but my 44 hit this sweet spot about 3500 rpm and I love it.. its a little high pitch but not like a ricer more like a racing setup

Re: check out my new mod and show off yours!

how long have they been on the car? still some rasp but the break in period can vary...that and the cam was too close for the sound to pick up right so maybe that's what i'm hearing. overall it's healthy sounding

If you paid anywhere close to the 170$ full retail for that, please box it up send it back and order the AM cold air intake for 70$ and save yourself the 100$ for another mod

Well that's ok. There's always a first time. I paid my bbk cai for 240$ back in 2007, i bought it in a local store and paid for additional tax. LOL!

unless you're in Cali you can pass emissions with any CAI. the build of a BBK is the same as the build of any off brand intake (i.e. UPR, AM, Ebay special)...just something to keep in mind for your next car

Yeah i made that mistake when i was younger and put a bunch of parts then when it came time to get it smogged they were like most of these parts gotta come off and i was just like noooo :'( but the smog check place makes bank off people by charging to pass a car with illegal parts, theres a bunch of laws too because there a bunch of underground ricer street races everywhere ........ i should just move to another state cali is expensive to live in haha
