Thinking

I've been thinking lately that I need a better fuel economy. I've really been considering trying to sell my 01 vert. I will be starving for money as I'm starting college soon and gas is going to skyrocket. And idk if I'll be able to afford keeping my stang. Does anyone know how much I'd be able to get just as an average price

Er well I still have my loan on it for 4600 atm so I would have to at least get that much. Think it's doable?

Cool cool. It makes me sad that I'm probably going to have to sell my stang. They are my favorite cars but gas is hard to keep in them

So youre gonna shoot for a hybrid? I mean the v6 gives you preety good gas mileage. Are you shooting for like 30 mpg? Do you work while you go to school?

Re: Thinking

just buy a bike or moped to get you to and from school...60-80 mpg depending on what you get.

no need to sell the v6 because honestly getting a new car payment won't justify saving a bit of cash on gas

Use your college math skills to see if the gas savings would even be worth it. I know in order for me to justify a newer more fuel efficient vehicle over my current focus dd i would have to double my mpg to over 60 in order to break even in 6 years. Shorter time period would take even more.
