Re: Bama tunner?

JUST THE TUNER ALONE gained me 4 MPG city and 4-5 MPG highway.

At $4.00/gallon for 91 octane non-ethanol (in Watertown South Dakota), gaining 4-5 mpg is significant!!! With those savings, it doesn't take long to recoup the cost of the tuner. This of course is under the assumption that you drive civilized once you get a tuner.... good luck with that !!!! Many people can't... simply because the tuner gives them a kick in the pants that in all honesty becomes quite addicting.

Yes, many people see WORSE fuel mileage after they get a tuner........ but, it's not the fault of the TUNER! It's the fault of the DRIVER!!!!

Be civilized on the street (if you can) and you will gain a few MPG.

sixpac,

We typically see a 1-2 mpg increase with our Bama tunes! Depending on how you drive, that number can easily change. Some of our customers love the new throttle response, hp&tq, and can't quite keep their right foot off the pedal! So, I wouldn't say everyone, gets better mpg, but all of the efficient drivers do. haha.
