OK I am here . I have almost 1.5 all the way around with the dead coil cut of the rear but I have a 98. Paul (Greenflash00) experienced about 1.25 all the way around with his 2000. The weird thing I started out with a 1.25 but is took awhile to settle.

do you cut the deal coil from the very tip of it, and go 360 deg to right above it to cut? or do you cut it 360 deg and upward from the point where the dead coil's end turns thick from the flat part?

Looking at the back spring at the top, put the end of the spring in your hand and look at the coil directly below it you cut it even with the end. you want to have a perfect ring in your hand you have cutn off when you are thru.

I cut a half loop on my 01 adn left the frotn alone, simply left the top front isolators out, made sure both rear isolators sayed in.

I cut half a ring, loop, on the rear coils and i now have 1.25 front and .8~ rear drop i am goign to either cut the other half of the dead coil or cut just a half of the half (3/4 total gone of the dead coil) i just dotn watn to go to low in the rear, i only want 1.25

Please to let me clear a little of the fog on this here subject. According to the sheet I received with my "C's" You can cut 1/2 a coil off the bottom of the front springs and off the top of the rear springs. This should give you and added .5 to .75 inches of drop, which if you add that to initial drop .75 should give you a 1.5 inch drop.

Well let me tell yuh either Ford is fibb'n or maybe I was just too aggressive in breaking in my springs but I ended up with a 1.75 drop. I had to put some Ethane isolators from ES to get .25 inches back, now it's purrfect.

if you do not cut the front or rear you get 1.1 up front and .5 rear. If you cut a half coil on the front you will probably be around 1.7 no doubt, I took out my front top isolator and got 1.3 front and I have only cut half the rear coils for .8, they need more to even the drop all around.
