looks like he's running some style of drag welds so no need...

i ran rear hubcentrics...didn't like how they felt so i took them off. i know they're safe, but i just couldn't shake the feeling of them breaking up while on the highway lol

Had 1.5" spacers back then. NOT hubcentrics... Used them for about 2 yrs. Never had any problems whatsoever... Although I would've gone with hubcentrics if I knew about them back then. Lol

Then I got another pair recently for $60 on eBay. Hubcentrics. Used them for about a week... Ran it with my stock 16s.

Yeh, i don't run any on the street. To get stock rears looking right you need a 1"

You'd have to trim your existing studs though...

No...only if your wheels are abnormal. Most wheels have that are removed to save weight

I had 1" before... Wasn't able to use them at all because I refused to trim my stock studs. I ended up giving them away to a fellow MM member and he had to trim his studs just so he could use his stock wheels.
So I should stop looking

You're gonna be using your stock GT wheels right? If you're planning to keep those wheels for a long time... Then go ahead and get 1", trim the stock studs IF YOU HAVE TO.

OR

Get 1.5" and have no problems for sure.

OR

Forget the spacers and save up for some staggered wheels.
