Is it a full kit and a 98 mustang v6? Or gt? If its a full kit shouldn't be a problem I mean not easiest but a couple of days and you should have it. Research, plan and go for it

Yeah full kit he had on his stang for a week before someone smashed into him, he salvaged it and it's been sitting in his garage, so he's giving it to me for free. I feel like with that deal I have to go for it. But is it more difficult with a automatic? It's just base v6

It's easier to install for auto no problem. Make sure to get all the parts ask him all the question. What is the boast limit on this turbo. What size fuel pump or injector do I need for it. Get all the research

I'm looking for a good new turbo kit for a base 2000 v6. Do you have any suggestions?

Other mustang forums I never have the money to buy the kits and remember you might need a built engine or other things to upgrade before you can get it to work

Re: turbo install

find out exactly what's in his kit...there are a few good places online that sell most of the hard to find parts to get a turbo to work on your car

Re: turbo install

it came off a V8 so the hotside will have to be redone anyways no more trouble than a normal turbo except you get it for free....

good news is the coldside should fit just fine unless it got squashed in the wreck
