Re: 98 v6 for 3000

get to work making it better gratz on the car man. Im on my permit too, got an 04 sixxer and ive been adding to it ever since i got it. a Cold air intake is a great first mod.
So far ive added a CAI, Sequential tails, hash marks, windshield banner, vinyl bumper inserts, and ive fixed up the interior on her. Theres just so much yu can do to mustangs.

with luck maybe. I got the splice in kit. Was a big pain to install, but it was worth it in the end.

Re: 98 v6 for 3000

it involves cutting, attaching, and re-arranging wires. so you would be re-arranging the wires in your tail lights to make them work. It can be a real pain sometimes, but $160 isnt worth the sake of just plug and play, unless you really dont feel comfortable working with wires

Re: 98 v6 for 3000

yeah, just make sure you dont pinch the wire against the body and short it out when you put the tails back on. Happened to me, blew about 4 fuses and ruined the sequencer. had to get a new one shipped in. They're $99 on american muscle for the splice in kit

There might be a tag bolted to the pumpkin. You'll have to get under there and see. You might be able to give the VIN to the dealer and they might be able to tell you.

Good because $3000 is too much for a 98v6 with that many miles, mines a 98 with 130k and i paid $2400
