tips vs dumps - Mustang Evolution

tips vs dumps

I was wondering right now I have my duals dumped after the mufflers, I kinda want to get sine tips tho.... I was wondering will it change the sound putting the tips out the back vs having then dumped after the mufflers thanks for ur help!

dumps makes it sound a bit louder . but please get a gt rear bumper if ur gona want tips. it doesnt look right with the v6 bumper

It all depends on your taste and the type of tips you get. In my opinion my old six looked mean with a set of stainless angle cut tips tucked to the bottom of the bumper. I'd post a pic but I don't have one anymore. If you want go to miracerros.com and there's a how to to cut exhaust cut outs into the v6 bumper

That's what I have and it sound great... I just like the look of nice chrome tips sticking out the back, so I Was seeing if if would change my sound at all, cuz id like the keep it the same sound if possible

here's the setup im getting done...my old car had dual turn downs and i loved them. wasn't as loud as my dumps were, but not as ugly as tips really under the rear...plus i love a v6 bumper

current sixxer i have some SS 2.5" mandrel bent off of a buddies NMRA car...but that left the slant cut tips under my bumper...the one i posted with turndowns just before the rear is my old sixxer...i'm gonna have my current tips cut off and the turndowns put on soon
