rear end swap

okay i would like to put an 8.8 rear end in my v6 i know you can get them from the gts but there are none in my area but i have heard you can get them from the f 150s if you can someone inform me of what years and models that have a compatible rear end.

from what i see the stang has a 60.6" track in rear whereas a f150 of the same year has a 66 track, would be a huge difference, i would look for a gt rear somewhere close and have it shipped or drive to get it

and i live just south of LR

Yes it'll bolt right up but be short by .5" each side of the current track width, good excuse for some 1" spacers lol
