Re: stroke to a 4.2 and super charge?

bunch of fail here.

Supercharger will NOT out accelerate a turbo UNLESS its a Positive displacement blower but really unless your talking about [street racing] or some stop light to stop light racing then it won't matter.

Centrifugal, no way...

Save up for a.... GT no, save up for a 03/04 cobra or a new 5L the 2v GT is just as pathetic as the V6. If you go that route you may as well save your pennies and start modding the V6 now. Unless your all about that 2v sound then you can sound good and be slow!

Haha I'm not trying to be the fastest in a v6 cause that's not gonna happen. Honestly i was just wondering if it was even possible to stroke it and super charge it like i know you can with turbos. That's the only question that i really ask that no ones answered XD not that i want to do it. Just is it possible and how.

im not a v6 guy. but the key is to use quality forged internals. and you would probably want dished pistons to keep the compression ratio down. when you stroke it, it is still essentially the same motor but with a little bit bigger pistons and more stroke. so everything super charger wise would be similar to a none stroked engine, but would need to be careful with part selection.

Re: stroke to a 4.2 and super charge?

i will just say....if someone could tell me how to get 300 out of my old GT with a couple hundred dollars that'd be great...because with all of my bolt ons i can assume i'd of had around 250-260 rwhp

my honest opinion OP is to love this car...add an exhaust...some wheels, and lower it...a few visual mods and just drive it...it has extremely low miles (just a bit less then mine). drive it as a good gas saving DD until you're ready to upgrade

ID:	65464 as far as wheels go i really like the look of this velocity series, but am kinda worried they're a little on the cheap side. Like $150 a rim. Opinions?

Because I'm looking for some kind of black rim outlined in silver, something simple like that, 5 spoke or propeller
