At least here in California, they take the exhaust pipes off if there are cats on it. And I think the GT cats would fail emission in cali

I had the done with my old stang and all the shops were giving me a hard time with connecting it to my manifolds. I was just going to have a custom fab using as little as I can until I have enough saved up for an off road system with a nice set of tail pipes and possibly gt bumper. Mustang parts are kinda common around here but everyone thinks they are worth their wieght in gold so getting them cheap isn't always easy

I have my tips just sitting under my bumper. I thought about getting a gt bumper for them to fit in but I have the mustang bumper decal and if I got a gt it would say mustang gt and I just want mustang. Can I just cut my bumper without it looking like a pos

Go to miracerros.com and click mustang and on the left side there is a link to a how to for bumper cut outs. And I've seen a lot of gt bumpers with either no lettering or just mustang lettering

Btw for 94-98 mustangs there isn't to much of a difference between gt and v6 bumpers. Tucked to the bottom of the bumper is your best bet. My previous post would have been for a new edge
