How do you get the pulley off??

I went to Auto Zone and got the jaw puller. Input it on the pulley and tightened away. It just tightened to a certain spot and didn't budge. What's the deal????

Well they gave me the jaw puller.

After attaching it and breaking the outer part of the pulley I discovered it was the wrong puller.

I now have this kit.

Now I know I need the one on the right.

So I get it to this point:

But the pulley still won't come off.

Is it because I'm just not cranking it hard enough yet?

I figured out the issue. I needed another wrench on the nut by the pulley to hold it still. Pulley came right off.

Going back at it later to finish removing the pump and get the new one on.

Hopefully it'll be driveable by tonight!
