1994 Mustang V6 sagging doors... HELP!!!

Hey there guys,

I need your HELP. I have a 1994 Ford Mustang V6 Convertible. I am trying to repair and bring it up to specs. In doing that, one of my issues is saggy doors. I have searched several forums, but I am getting conflicting resolutions. Some say change the pins and bushings and other say hinges because 94 Mustangs to do not have pins and bushings. Any help guys?

Thanks!!!

open your door...do you see pins and bushings? if so then go to any autoparts house and buy 4 boxes of them (one box contains one pin and bushing)...go ahead and do both doors that way

Here are some pics of the upper and lower hinge. Cannot tell if there are pins and bushings, but there may be, it looks like it is in the back a little and I was not able to get it in the picture.

It looks like there might be pins and bushings, but whenever I look somewhere, i.e. AmericanMuscle.com the pins and bushings stop at 1993. I will check out the site you recommended. Thanks

np....it took a little bit of hunting but it would seem you just have hinges nad that i know over time will sag. LMR is a good site to deal with (i've bought many things from them) so hope that helps

I checked them out on the site, but I am just a little foggy still because if I do have pins and bushings I do not want to pay a bunch more for the hinge, ya know...

Thanks for all of the advice.

you don't have standard pins and bushings after looking at other sn95s online

If the pins and bushings won't be in the way of anything in your hinges and the pins are long enough, drill out your old ones to the specs for the new bushings and use the pins and bushings you found anyways. A hinge is a hinge is a hinge and they all pretty much work the same way.

What do you mean by standard pins for the sn95?
