Window lube???

I know it's a weird question but my windows make an ear piercing noise when I roll them down and I think it's the rubber going bad. Is there anything I can rub on there to make it smoother again and not so dry? And also just noticed I have sun spots on my dash, anything to put on that?

Are your windows sitting right in its brackets? Because my passanger window was doing this and i took the panel off and it wasnt in the bracket right and was leaning on one side of the rubber more then the other i fixed it and it stopped.

Just a thought

Hmmm well I have no idea all I can tell you is that when I wash the car the windows don't squeak till the car starts to get a little dirty again. But how would I tell if they weren't sitting right?

Like if the window isnt straight in the middle of the rubber, but if its fine when you wash its it might be your rubber is old then does ot look old and fadded at all?

Yeah It does look a little old. I mean it's a 99 so I expect some age to it lol but I guess I'll just have to keep up on the washes!
