Went to Ford and had them run my VIN and they said I don't have traction control(even tho theres a wire harness behind the dash) or a slip differential. Is is possible to add them aftermarket? I'm new to Mustangs and would love some insight. I'd like some help keeping my butt from sliding all over the place on dirt/gravel roads.

I'm just spitballing here. But maybe ford uses the same wire harness for all their packages of mustang GT and the harness is made to accommodate all accessories but are unused if particular mustang isn't selected to have that particular option.

I absolutely hated my traction control. All it does it choke the engine to make the rear wheels spin as fast as the front wheels

Yes but it's called a t-lok or trak-lok or limited slip differential. There are different brands as well such as FRPP (ford racing), Auburn, Detroit locker. Look them up on Americanmuscle.com

Tc isn't that useful I have it on mine but I a tlock will make a better change to your car. You can install it yourself if you buy one or pay to get one and gears installed
