Shift kit

I havnt done anything to my stang in a while and I'm considering getting a shift kit. I have a cai and and dual exhaust and eventually wonna get a tuner and suspension upgrades. What performance gains am I looking out with a shift kit? Do y'all know any good kits I could use? Should I just save my money or go through with this. Thanks in advance for the help
