Need a little help, Oil pressure guage fluctuates when shifting

Hey guys i have a 95 3.8l v6 5speed manual, the issue is that when i shift either up or down the cluster gauge for oil pressure will go from nominal to 0 then starts going up and down randomly until i reach about 55mph then it evens out until i have to shift again? Im not very wise with cars but i love this vehicle and just want to make sure its running and not slowly destroying its self thankshttp://cdn.mustangevolution.com/forum/images/smilies/party0006.gif

If you're having issues with your oil pressure gauge the first thing you should check is your oil level. My old car had an aftermarket oil pressure gauge and an oil leak. Lol and I could tell when I was low on oil because the oil pressure gauge would start dropping and raising with the accelerator.
