Quick question need a quick answer about exhaust manifolds

I'm headed to the junk yard to pick up an exhaust manifold to replace the 1 that has cracked and i thought about getting the headers from the 94 to 98 model and I wondered if anyone had ever bolted them up to an 04 3.9L.

sweet, I got them now I just have to take time to get them in all while moving. Joy Joy. Thanks for the input guys. Anyone know what kind of gains or whatnot i should get from switching from the old log manifolds to these headers?

Maybe slightly better flow and a bit better sound. They are the same as shortys not much is noticed from headers unless they are longtubes

ive always heard that the 94-98 headers are much better than the 99-04 manifolds

side note, they do bolt straight up to the block, however the flange on them is a little bit (maybe 1/4") bigger than on the stock new edge ones.

you are correct easy way to fix this is to take the collectors from an sn95 and weld them up to the NE's midpipe.
