I have a 3.8 v6 and I want to start to improve it's performance, where should I start? Somewhere cheap and affordable.

Cheapest route people will say to chop springs, I would suggest a set of lowering springs and new shocks. What are you're plans for it? Just aggressive daily driving or competitive?

Re: Suspension

Save up alot of cash and research, research, research until you have a game plan. The suspension upgrade was hard work, expensive, and very gratifying. Huge difference afterwards. Visit Maximum Motorsports, they have starter kits & they now can sell you a set of lowering springs and shocks/struts.
*Cheap suspension upgrade I recommend: Ford Racing "F" springs, and new shocks/struts (KYB are cheaper and great quality). Any lower and you get into more parts. FRPP "F" springs are made for the V6, which is 100lbs lighter up front than the 4.6L V8.
