american muscles new valve body

why does it say 01-04 v6 not 99-04? i wana replace that on my tranny

They switched the transmissions halfway through 2001 look on your door code to see what transmission you have the late 01-04 is tr3650 I'm pretty sure may have a number switched but the 99-01 is a way different code

Are you sure both base and v6 had 4r70w for autos and manuals had base was a t5 and gts had t45

I'm not sure the easiest way for you to check would be go on your door jam on the drivers side and it should let you know what transmission you have

If your car is a auto then it is a 4r70w as long as its in the 99-04 year range

Go to 99-04 tab on AM and search valve body they also offer one for the 96-00 gt and v6 that is cheaper than the 01-04 valve body

yeah my '04 GT had a tr3650...sucked when the 3rd gear syncro when out...turned out to be a common issue after doing research online
