My gf's car is a 03 manual v6 mustang and she was sitting at idle, and the front right (what seemed to be heard best by stickin my head up in the wheel well) started chirping. I have a audio clip I will upload when I get home, but any ideas? She thought it was her belt but I don't think so, or wouldn't it be chirping at the front where the belt is?

Also when she has clutch in or is in gear it stops chirping. Only in neutral sitting still does it chirp.

Any help would be appreciated

Only when in neutral and clutch not engaged is it chirping. It's stops when clutch is engaged or put into gear.

So basically needs a new clutch right? Will it hurt anything if she waits 10-20k to get it fixed?

Mine made that noise when I bought it and I've put about 10k on it since I got it. Just make sure your trans fluid level is ok and don't beat on the clutch
