Cracked rim

So I had to jump a curb to avoid yet anoth Vegas car crash. The car's fine, even the alignment, but I cracked the hell out of my front passnger side rim. Looked around and since the pony package comes with a special rim it is gonna cost me almost $300 to replace the rim and tire. So I go to discount tire, a good friend of mine runs this certain shop, and end up getting a whole new set of rims. They had a set of enkei's that the guy that ordered never picked up. They look a little tunerish but for $100 a wheel I couldn't complain. Too much. Here they are

They're 17's still and I get to keep my Pirelli rubber.

Re: Cracked rim

I just need something now. I can't drive with 3 wheels and I need the car up and running by 7pm local time to get to work. It's only $400 and they actually don't look that bad. Even a replacement wheel from ford is gonna cost me $300 just for the rim, not including installing the new tire etc. It's a band aid fix, I have my eye on the Boss 318 in black diamond. Those are the one's I'll get in a few months. I have no problem with these till then

Re: Cracked rim

17 by what? If your gonna be getting something different in the future I wouldn't mind taking them off you for a set of track rims/tires. Depends on how wide they are though. Let me know.

Re: Cracked rim

Aww, good luck with everything! I had a cracked rim on my old car, which sucked, but in the long run was the reason I found my GT when I did! I loooove Saleen wheels, but that's not a bad price and I think they look pretty decent personally. Good price too.

Gotta love all the crazy drivers out there!
