you'll also need the fog light wiring harness for the oem switch. the harness will connect to the wiring that powers the switch

Is it possible to do both? So I can run just my fogs or have them turn on when I turn on my headlights?

By wire harness do you mean the wires that plug into the actual switch ? Bc I just took out the one that's there (the black original one) and put the new one in its place and put those wires in it... It turns on and off and lights up.

if you run to your amber you can do that...one pull on the headlight switch to kick on the fogs and ambers...two pulls to turn them on with the headlights

im referring to the harness that goes from the fog bulbs to the wiring that connects to the switch.

Hey not trying to hijack your thread but i would also like to put some fog lights in my v6 and wire them to the ambers.

If I were to buy these plus some wire. Would I need anything else to mount them or will just some standard screws be just fine? Also what would be the best and cheapest way to wire to the actual light terminal?

Cobra fog light will only fit a cobra bumper. You will need gt fogs and you will need to cut the plastic grate that is on the v6 bumpers from the factory for where the fogs go

Actually nix that they look like gt lights. Just make sure they will fit a 99-04 gt and your good with those

Yeah I dont know why it says cobra. But it was just an example.

So yeah cutting out the grate is the first part but as for installing them is it just screws? And for the plug is that something autozone or o reillys would sell? Is there a cheaper way to wire it up? Also if I wire them to the ambers I assume they will flash with the turn signal?

Trying to mod my mustang on a cheap budget ha. Thanks

There are two power wires on the ambers...the constant power and flasher wire. If you wire your fog power to the constant power wire youll be fine. It wont flash that way. Also yes you will just screw the fogs in. Your v6 bumper already has the three holes needed to install fogs. Id take the bumper off for the install btw..just easier then leaving it on

Looks like these pig tails should work with most of the fog lights out there. And at less than $5 why not?
