Turbo and tune questions

I found a pretty cheap full turbo kit near me on Craig's list, I had a few questions about tuning and what not, first of all, how do I adjust fuel pressure, I will be getting a bigger pump, but do i buy a fuel pressure regulator? Or is it computer regulated? I'm trying to do all the tuning my self with a air/fuel gauge, I have someone experienced enough to teach me, but do I need to buy a tuner? Or can I adjust the necessary components manually,

My next question is about boost, I hear safe amount on stock internals is about 6-8 but for what size turbo is that? Most people don't realize this, but 8lbs out of a 30mm turbo is way different than 8lbs out of a 70mm, I think the one im getting is 50mm what's a safe amount on that? This will still be my daily so I need safe boost

These cars require tuning electronically.. Need to buy tuning software, a handheld or a chip, etc I would honestly say leave it to a pro, some places can even remote tune so you don't have to trailer it wherever for dyno tuning, VMP is a very reputable place

Also, 10psi usually the limit, but stay around 350rwhp and you shouldn't have any problems really

Ok, and what is the weak point on our engines? Like what goes first when over boosted. Also is there a tuner I can get for cheaper than the ones on AM? Just one were I do all the adjustments, wouldn't need a custom tune or anything.

Well.. There are people putting 450+rwhp to them without major problems, it's all in the tune really, detonation can make even low horsepower cares fail, but our common weakness seems to be head gaskets, even though they still take some work to make fail lol

Look for people selling used tuners, cheap alternative, but the guys who do the remote tuning also sell tuners along with their work for a decent price too
