Chip or Tuner

I would like to get some opinions on the AM sct tuner or the chip. There's a $110 difference so what's so much better on the tuner ?

Tuner!.. You can run diagnostics on it, change your own program on it, data log!.. A bunch of other cool things!...

Also if you change anything on your car and would like a new tune for the chip yu have to take it out, mail it to BAMA and wait for them to upload the new tunes and send it back. With the tuner you can download new tunes right from your computer. This is on top of all the benefits Eturner described.

I think most chips have a USB thing that allows you to change it your self.
A tuner is newer technology though and it is more user friendly.
A friend just took a chip off of his truck because it wasn't working right. It took him about an hour to get it out. A tuner plugs into a OBII port. Takes only a couple minutes to tune your computer.
