Exhaust question

Would my car sound good/bad if I ran it straight off the cats? Or would it hurt my car.

Get mufflers, any mufflers. It wouldnt hurt your car but it sounds terrible.

i don't have mufflers....terrible is news to me

OP if you decide to go without mufflers make sure to get a decent midpipe to kill some of the raspiness and you'll be golden.

I'm sorry, i meant with divorced duals or a basic cross over mid. I'm sure with a prochamber it sounds pretty good

you should try using a dual in dual out muffler as your mid-pipe and just run straight pipes from it back.
Something like this http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/wcs...4_pri_larg.jpg
you'll use that instead of a mid pipe and mufflers.
it's kinda like a prochamber
you could also get a single chamber muffler thats dual in dual out.

I'm running a catless divorced flowmaster 40 dual exhaust w/ mufflers. i noticed an increase in acceleration and a noticeable increase at the top end. i love the sound as well.
