Yeah 17s are my go to size for a mix of looks and weight for performance needs

I would like lower uk for better performance I just bought these to show them off but now I started getting into faster

I'm Deffinetly not the expert on that I'm sure someone else on here would be but mine are sumitimo htr z 2s 285/35 and 275/35 but those are 18s. If I were you just go on AM and look at there's they have awesome wheels. I prefer the 03 cobra wheels 17x10.5 staggered here's a link of them

i liked the '98 cobra R wheels i had on my old GT. i painted them black as well...
