If I remember correctly 3 bolts and one wire to get the alternator out but how did you get the pulley off in the parking lot? I had to take mine to Autozone and get them to loosen the bolt holding it on.

i used a ratchet....just stick it in the tensioner and you can loosen and tighten it all day long

Because it was dirt cheap and had low miles. It was purely an opportunity purchase. I love it, but I am still looking for the right gt. I want lower miles, and a vert. They are few and far between where I live in any kind of decent condition. So ill be patient and find the right one. Im not going to settle for anything less than exactly what I want. Even after I buy it I will still continue to sink money into the six because I enjoy turning wrenches and tinkering, but more importanly I spend money modifying all my vehicles, what engine it has doesnt mean anything. And lastly its a mustang, nuff said.

Chin spoiler from AM tracking shows its coming in today! I wish all my parts would come in at once though....

Its a shame I wont be able to get it on until tomorrow. I work nights, so ill probably be asleep be the time it gets here.

Ill post a writeup on the install with plenty of pictures.

i'd reccomend not using the mounting push pins that come with it but going to a hardware store and buying some nuts, bolts, and washers...a couple good drags and those plastic pins never seem to hold up.

The one I ordered comes with all the bolts, nuts, and washers.

But I do agree. Those stupid push pins and plastic screw-expander turds are useless. I pulled the ones on the radiator cover and the cowl and replaced with 1/4" bolts with locknuts.

Was going to do the same dark shadow grey (cx). But after seeing the Tuxedo Metallic Black (wb) at the dealership im almost certain thats what I am going to go with......but there is a 10% chance Ill do white.

Whatever color I go with, ill have them do the door jams, underside if the hood, etc to match.

I just dont know if I want them to paint the chin spoiler to match, or leave it black.

She should be ready for the paint booth in march.

Personal preference for me I'd leave it black with the colors you're planning on going with, I'm sure it'll look awesome either way

i painted my chin...with my color though it pops more and makes a huge visual difference...i'm not sure on black if it would be as noticeable though

Myrtle Beach 2013, July 15-21!! Just nailed it down, I'm going to drag the wife and kids down there for the 15-17th.

Bad news, unless I want to take two cars, the Mustang wont be there=-(. I've got my wife, 14 yr old son, 6 yr old son, and 3 yr old daughter....we all won't fit in the stang. I may take both cars, but I may not, I'll have to think on it. The overhaul will continue regardless.
